NDSM Tour
The largest cultural breeding place in the Netherlands is the historical and inspiring NDSM wharf in Amsterdam. This former shipyard has been a popular place for the underground creative scene. Happy Tours Amsterdam offers tours to this abandoned cultural hotspot in the north side of Amsterdam. Unlike other tour operators in Amsterdam, Happy Tours doesn't guide massive groups. We like to keep the vibe intimite and personal. The tours are in English and take about 2 hours, including a 20 min ferry trip over the beautiful IJ-canal! During the tour we will shoot some photos with a fisheye camera. You can find these photos later on
our Facebook.
Route
The NDSM tour starts every Saturday and Sunday at 13:00 pm from the Spui square, next to 'Het Lieverdje' or 'The Little Darling' statue in the city centre (take tram line 1, 2 or 5 to get there).
Click here for a map. You can recognize the guide by a green fluoride jacket. We start walking through the centre, where we will take you some decades back in Amsterdam's creative history. We will end up at the playground for the current creative generation; the NDSM wharf.
